Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Short answers. The binding detail sits in the terms, privacy, cookie, refund and disclaimer pages.

What do the two fees include?

Basic (£179.99) and Priority (£189.99) each include professional translation of the instructed file, a second-pass review, and electronic delivery. Priority is the same linguistic standard on a faster schedule.

How does the 14-day refund work?

Request a refund within fourteen calendar days of purchase. You do not need to give a reason. We refund the full instruction fee to the original payment method. Details are in the refund policy.

Is this a sworn or notarised translation?

We can issue a translator’s certificate of accuracy with the file. That is not the same as a notary’s attestation, an apostille, or a court-sworn translator in another country. If a receiving body names a specific form, send that requirement with the instruction.

Do you use machine translation?

The deliverable is a human-reviewed translation. Tools may be used inside the workflow. Unreviewed machine output is not sold as a finished professional product.

How should I send the source file?

Editable office files or a complete, legible scan. Photographs of folded or cropped pages delay the work. State source language, target language and the purpose of the document.

Who sees my documents?

Staff and linguists engaged on the instruction. Files are treated as confidential. See the privacy policy.

Can you guarantee a government office will accept the translation?

No. We translate faithfully and can certify our work. Acceptance is a decision for the receiving authority. That limit is stated in the disclaimer.

What if I need interpreting, not a document?

This site is for written translation. Interpreting is a different service and is not included in the published fees.

How do I complain?

Use the contact form with the topic “Complaint”, or read the complaints procedure.
